What Scout is
Scout is a listing and verification service operated by Smokestack Games. We publish information about Roblox games whose owners have told us they want to talk to acquirers, and we introduce interested parties to each other.
What Scout is not
We are not a broker, an escrow service, an agent, or a party to any transaction. We do not hold funds. We do not transfer, sell, or take custody of Roblox accounts, experiences, groups, or any other asset. Any agreement you reach is between you and the other party, and it's your responsibility to comply with Roblox's Terms of Use.
If you list a game
- Listing is free. There is no fee, no commission, and no exclusivity.
- You confirm you have the right to share the data you upload and that it is accurate and unaltered.
- You can withdraw a listing at any time by emailing us. We'll remove it the same day.
- You decide who gets an introduction. We don't reveal your identity or your game to an acquirer without your approval.
If you subscribe
- Subscriptions are monthly and cancel anytime; access ends at the end of the paid period. The founding rate stays fixed for as long as the subscription runs continuously.
- Drop content is for your own evaluation. Don't republish or resell it, and don't share your access key.
- A subscription buys access to the drop and introductions. It does not entitle you to any particular number of listings, or to any specific game.
About the numbers
A verified badge means we downloaded the analytics exports ourselves from the seller's Creator Hub and ran our consistency checks. A self-reported label means the seller uploaded them and we could not independently obtain them. Either way, our checks reduce risk — they do not eliminate it, and they are not an audit, a valuation, or a recommendation to buy. Do your own diligence before you spend money.
Liability
Scout is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Smokestack Games is not liable for losses arising from a transaction between users, from a seller's inaccurate data, or from decisions made on the basis of a listing. Our total liability to a subscriber is limited to the amount they paid us in the previous three months.
